Goals for 2008-2009:

            Aspire to have more demographic representation of our community as members.

            Keep Kiwanis in the public eye through more journalistic efforts. “Committee on Public Relations”

            Keep web site updated weekly. “Committee of Public Relations”

            Weekly emails with thirty day calendar schedule posted as well as major yearly events posted.
                        “Committee on Public Relations”

            Make certain we have a flag, podium, name tags, and Kiwanis banner at every meeting. “Sergeant of Arms”

            Make meetings more interesting by establishing penalties for members that forget to where their
                       Kiwanis pins or shirts to all meetings. “Sergeant of Arms”

            Celebrating club members birthdays, anniversaries, and special accomplishments by members
                       with published recognition in the Kiwanis web site. “Committee of Public Relations”

            Restoring “Happy $” and “Sad $” tradition.

            Make certain extra membership materials are at every meeting. “Membership and Growth Committee”

            Have every member prepared and trained to give a quick summary of Grundy Kiwanis and her
                        accomplishments to anyone and at any occasion, projecting a passion to help children.

            Consider and be open to membership through online meetings for those so prone and once a month
                        “Noon Round Table” meeting.

            Forming “Hobby Lobby” groups within Grundy Kiwanis where relationships can be strengthen through
                        outside interest. (e.g. golfing, geo-tracking, jogging, biking, travel groups, “Steelers Fan Club”, etc.)

            Increase of fund raisers for Kiwanis thus enabling the club to reach the needs of more children in our
                        community. “Committee on Finance and Fund-Raising”

            Survey the clubs members to see how each member can be better utilized by our club. (Needs
                        assessment) “Committee on Growth and Education”

            Follow-up cards sent every week to members that missed that week’s meeting. “Membership and Growth Committee”

            Come up with a system that requires every member that has sponsored a new member to follow-up on
                        their sponsored members attendance. (Accountability system)

            Build and maintain a quality town park that Kiwanis can really be proud of placing our name in its’ sign.

            Become more active on Mountain Mission School’s campus.
